2026 Burnt Soup ART GRANT Recipients
Confessions Brunch – stop by Punk In Drublic and leave your deepest darkest secrets in our mailbox. They are safe with us. Until we read them out loud at brunch on Sunday. Make them as outrageous, heartfelt or kinky as you please! We will have champagne, juice, N.A. drinks and pastries.
One thing at Soup that is guarantee is for it to be fuckinggggg H-O-T, hoooot. 
So we thought what better way to give back to the community than having a completely AC living experience with cold beverages & comfy sitting to relax, to get cool & chill for awhile.?
We’ve purchased a 40 person blow up LED light club that we intend on completing giving it AC && all the comfy sitting possible with nice cold beverages for maximum chillness.

We will possibly be hosting movie night too but that’s to be determined…

Tiny Tim’s Tiny harm reduction kits will be debuting at Burnt Soup 26. As a reminder, artified kits will include narcan, testing strips, and other items! The goal is to have at least one kit per theme camp.
Don’t miss your shot at glory! Cum get a tasty squirt of a variety of beverages, served through your choice of our many genital simulant apparatus. If you crack the kink of your mystery mate, you can expect a double serving. Saturday afternoon and evening, near the pool.

Thank you to everyone who bought an art ticket. Camp CANtastic received an art grant to help fund our Meet and Greet event and CANapes happy hour!!
We will have 2 meet and greet events, think meeting Santa at the mall but with more silly and sassy vibes. You lovely people can visit Burnt Soup and Salty Bitch to get a photo and if you have been a good little Soupster you just might get a surprise 
Our CANapes happy hour will have small bites and snacks along with sangria. We will have a non alcoholic hydration station and vegetarian options.

We’ve got a performance of an original script funded by #ArtGrant2026 ! “Shitty Wizards” gives us stories of powerful sorcerers who don’t know how to buy a sandwich. Just because you have fantastic powers over time and space doesn’t mean you can perform a ribbon-cutting ceremony, either, apparently. This is the spiritual successor of “The Epic Hell Quest for Pegging Supplies”, which was performed at Burnt Soup years earlier.
It’s an hourlong show performed by people who have never seen the script before. I’ve done this for years and I’m continually stunned at the quality of performance this community pulls together with 0 preparation. This year we’ll have a teleprompter, props, and costumes, enabled by the art grant! The art grant will help us obtain:
A seal mask for the anti-magic seal!,
A plastic battle-axe!,
A bubbling cauldron that may or may not be a Halloween candy jar!,
Other low budget props and costumes fit for incompetent fantasy characters!,
Come watch the show Sunday at 7PM at Center Camp! Whee!!!
The Decentralized Sound System
We’re unbelievably stoked to receive an art grant to bring out the BoomBox Cartel 88.5fm 
radio station and boombox fleet again to Burnt Soup! We will be broadcasting from the main soundsystem out to our several hundred boomboxes, which will be available from our boombox lending library to distribute to your camp or anywhere on the playa! And when the main stage isn’t staging, I’ll be playing selections from my 24hr party playlist, so you can join the party revolution!!! #ArtGrant2026
Edit- I also have had an additional $130 donated on top of the art grant, but every dollar helps but more D & C cell batteries to allow me to bring more boomboxes!! I have about 250 of them, each take on average 6 cells, coming out to $13/ full size boombox. So far i estimate i will be able to bring about 22 boomboxes, if you’d like to see more every dollar donated goes straight to the battery fund.
